Senator Ibrahim Abdullahi Danbaba Dambuwa
Senator, Sokoto South Senatorial District
Senator Ibrahim Abdullahi Danbaba Dambuwa was born on 1 January 1953 in Sabon Birni, Sokoto State. He is an accountant and public administrator. He took his NCE at the Advanced Teachers College, Sokoto, a degree in Management from the University of Sokoto (now Usmanu Danfodiyo University) in 1981, and an Advanced Diploma in Accounting from Luton College of Higher Education, United Kingdom, in 1989. He served as Deputy Governor of Sokoto State from 1999 to 2003 and later as Senator for Sokoto South in the 8th and 9th National Assembly. He is again the APC candidate for the district in 2027. He campaigns on experience, party unity and delivery that complements Governor Ahmad Aliyu and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
