The candidate

Hon. Ahmad Abdullahi Kalambaina

Member, House of Representatives — Kware/Wamakko Federal Constituency, Sokoto State

Hon. Ahmad Abdullahi Kalambaina was born on 13 September 1968 in Kware, Sokoto State. He holds a B.Sc. and came up through local government: councillor, vice chairman and chairman of Wamakko LGA, and secretary of ALGON in Sokoto State. He was elected to the House of Representatives for Kware/Wamakko in 2019 on the APC platform, returned in 2023, and affirmed by the party in May 2026 for 2027. In the 9th Assembly he was Vice Chairman of the House Committee on Internally Displaced Persons. In the 10th Assembly he is Vice Chairman of the House Committee on Defence. He seeks another term to keep federal work tied to both local governments, in support of Governor Ahmad Aliyu and Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko.
